Tasting note
Balsamic notes with Chianti terroir. Blackcurrants and blackberries in the bouquet. On the palate, cinnamon notes, extremely dense and powerful structure, chocolate and some vanilla, first-class tannin structure and fantastic length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Mediterranean dishes or grilled meats.
Vinification
PONENTE or in German “where the sun sets” is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The wine is aged in French barriques for 22 months.
