About the wine
Poggio Argentiera is a relatively young winery in the heart of Maremma, near the coastal town of Albarese. Here, between a beautiful nature reserve and the Mediterranean Sea, is the Morellino di Scansano designation of origin and the climate is extremely healthy for the vines due to the sea breeze. Giovanni Frascolla grew up on the family winery as the grandson of Virgilio and Rita Tua. After working with his father in recent years, Giovanni is now responsible for Poggio Argentiera. Of course, he is supported by a team of winemakers, the same team as Tua Rita.

Tasting note
Cherry, plum and blackberry dominate this black-red, full-bodied wine. This is accompanied by aromas of toasted bread, an intense freshness on the palate and interesting tannins, as well as a soft, very full-bodied and long-lasting body.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef with dark sauces and curries.
