About the wine
We have a special, strong Shiraz from 2015 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the French winery Château Saint-Jean greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Shiraz is ideal to be served with barbecue or roasted vegetables.

Tasting note
The vines thrive on calcareous pebble soil. They are grown “tapestry” and yields are limited. All this gives this cru its dark purple color. On the nose, we recognize notes of licorice and ripe, black fruit. A structured wine with elegant tannins.

Angaben über Vinifizierung: Das Plateau des „Plan de Dieu“ grenzt an die Appellationen von Gigondas und Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Die Reben gedeihen auf kalkhaltigen Kieselsteinboden. Sie werden im „Gobeletschnitt“ angebaut und die Erträge sind beschränkt.
