About the wine
The region around the city of Stellenbosch is one of the most famous places in South Africa where wine is grown. It is located in the Western Cape province of South Africa, which borders both the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. More than 120 wineries are located in Stellenbosch. They all benefit from the optimal climatic conditions required for top-quality viticulture. The climate is Mediterranean, sunny and relatively dry in summer, but with enough rainfall in winter. The ocean within sight provides refreshing breezes and sufficient humidity, which are decisive factors for slow and harmonious fruit development, especially in midsummer.

Its first-class ruby red crowns every festive time with style and magic. You won't find this color in any color catalog. The aromas of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of finesse with a very individual structure. The playful nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla then reveal their own character. With subdued, finely developed tannins, medium-bodied and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine presents its flawless structure. This top wine won the prize: John Platter: 4.5 stars.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2013 - 2018. We recommend Flaschenpost team with salmon, cheese and red meat.
