Tasting note
Elegant nose with small, red fruits, spices, wild herbs, some menthol, slightly fleshy and greasy. Vital on the palate with great texture and lots of power. Great wine with lots of potential!
Vinification
KatharinaAnnual harvesting and strict selection, followed by destemming and fermentation on the mash. After two to three weeks of fermentation in open oak vats and paper, it is then gently pressed. The subsequent aging takes place in small French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is bottled without filtration.
