About the wine
With the dominant red wine 2015 — Pinot noir du Valais AOC Hephaistos Selection Vieille Vigne, nuances and accents are redefined. You can describe the nature of Valais with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Cave Louis-Bernard Emery is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. Tasting note
The bouquet is reminiscent of cooked fruits such as strawberries as well as fruity-spicy notes of dried apricots and cinnamon, ripe berries on the palate and great fullness and richness. A rich, concentrated Pinot Noir with a lovely harmony.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended with cheese, salmon and red meat.
Vinification
Hephaestus is known in ancient Greece as the god of fire and steel. The vines are old and the yield is correspondingly low. It is removed in steel tanks.
