About the wine
Alsatian Spätlesen are only produced in large years from grapes harvested overripe. They are sweet, liquor-like and sweet and are subject to very strict legislation. They're holiday wines, from aperitif to dessert!

Tasting note
The bouquet is a bit more subtle than that of Riesling or Gewürztraminer. It is reminiscent of a freshly scented loaf of bread from a wood-fired oven. Its opulence and very present body make it a great food companion.
