About the wine
The castle of Auvernier is one of the links between former and present size. In 1914, 400 bottles of Pinot noir Château d'Auvernier from 1911 were emptied on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prussian Guard. Today's lord of the castle, Thierry Grosjean, is initiative and cosmopolitan, and his wines are also highly appreciated abroad.

Das Bouquet des Pinot Gris AOC Caves du Château Auvernier von Mandel, Honig und Ingwer zeigt aromatische Komplexität und viel Finesse. Die dominanten Nuancen von Limette und grünem Apfel gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Mit leichtem Körper und dominanter Säure zeigt dieser halbtrockene Weisswein seine meisterliche Struktur.

Goes well with grilled or fried fish.
