Tasting note
Pinot Gris is bright yellow with green reflections. On the nose, clear and intense aromas of ripe white fruits, some yeast pastry and a slightly smoky note inspire. On the palate, the wine is smooth and creamy with yellow fruit aromas, a refreshing acid structure and a slight mineral saltiness. A pleasantly balanced Pinot Gris and a great accompaniment.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with light meat dishes, dishes with cream sauce, vegetarian dishes, cheese.
Vinification
The grapes for this Pinot Gris come from various locations around Orschwihr. After manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted again at the winery and then gently pressed. The juice is then fermented with natural yeasts at cool temperatures. Yeasts are aged in steel tanks.
