About the wine

Höngger vines from the Zweifel family were first mentioned in documents in 1440. In addition to the Klingen and Riedhof vineyards in Zurich, excellent grapes are brought to Höngg every autumn from our own vineyards in Regensberg, Otelfingen, Stäfa and Remigen AG as well as by friendly regional winegrowers, where city winemaker Urs Zweifel presses with the latest know-how and technology and has made it into the top 100 Swiss winemakers (Vinum).

Tasting note
Intense notes of melon, mandarin and orange zest. The wine has a sweet finish and a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Asian dishes, cheese platters, desserts.
Vinification
This Pinot Gris with a late harvest character was aged in steel tanks.
