Tasting note
Romano Vitas strives to preserve the maximum of their varietal aromas in its white wines. He achieves this through careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and subsequent careful processing and fermentation. The wine ages in steel tanks to protect it from all influences, such as wood notes from oak barrels. In return, however, the fine harbor is stirred up at regular intervals, which increases the soft melt and mineral content of the wine. The Pinot Grigio by Romano Vitas shows a nice density and exciting breed on the palate, rich, ripe, floral notes in the bouquet.

Angaben über Vinifizierung: Romano Vitas ist darauf bedacht, seinen Weissweinen das Maximum ihrer sorteneigenen Aromen zu erhalten. Dies erreicht er durch die sorgfältige Selektion der Trauben im Rebberg und durch die anschliessende schonungsvolle Verarbeitung und Vergärung. Der Wein reift in Stahltanks, um ihn vor allen Einflüssen, wie Holznoten von Eichenfässern zu schützen. Dafür aber wird der feine Hafesatz in regelmässigen Abständen aufgewühlt, was den weichen Schmelz und den mineralischen Gehalt des Weins erhöht.
