Tasting note
This beautiful intensity is transferred both to the bouquet and to the mouthfeel of this special wine, which is aged in containers made from a cement mixture, the so-called cocciopesto. Sweet peach, grapefruit, and spicy saffron appear, and the wine is broad and even a little sweet. In contrast, it also offers drying mineral notes.
Vinification
The Pinot Grigio Curubella is a fascinating wine that, thanks to minimal contact with the skin, has a slightly pink or copper tint (called “ramato” in Italian).
