Tasting note
Rich garnet red. On the nose, rich in aromas of ripe cherries and wild berries accompanied by nuances of plum jam and spices. Cherry, compote and roasted aromas dominate on the palate. Pieros shows a perfect structure with soft tannins. Gentle and long-lasting on the finish. A masterpiece from Bierzo with great aging potential!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, beef, lamb or game, recent pasta dishes or a cheese platter.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation, aging for at least 18 months in French oak barriques.
