About the wine
The outstanding Nebbiolo — Piemont DOC Romeo is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Mura Mura masters this red wine in the sunny and picturesque countryside of Piedmont. Tasting note
Dark ruby red with a deep nose of fruit, notes of blackberries, plums and some rose petals and nutmeg. On the palate, it offers lots of fruit and juice, with young, juicy tannin and a fruit-sweet aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler recommends this Piemont DOC Romeo for beef, burrata and truffle risotto.
Vinification
Whole berry fermentation with maceration for approx. 12 days, aging: 12 months in French oak tonneaux, then 12 months in 400L ceramic amphores. A further 6 months of bottle aging.
