About the wine
The Piekenierskloof Grenache is made from grapes from two neighboring bush vines — the oldest of which was planted in 1987 — on sandstone soils of Table Mountain at an altitude of about 750 m in the Citrusdal Mountains.

Tasting note
Medium-bodied ruby red — beguiling complex and elegant floral nose with notes of wild strawberries, red cherries and cranberries. The spicy-herbal tones, the mineral notes and the magnificently chiselled tannins balance the clear, pure fruit in a perfect way and reflect the origin from the mountainous region on the Piekenierskloof. The aftertaste is long and juicy with slightly salty notes that tempt you to take the next sip. The two neighboring vineyards are located at an altitude of 750 m above sea level in the Citrusdal region.
