About the wine
Bodegas Bhilar is a boutique winery in Elvillar, Rioja Alavesa, run by David Sampedro and Melanie Hickman. Their goal is to make terroir wines with a soul, respect the land, work only with local grapes and share their unique wines with good people with positive energy.

Tasting note
Ruby, spicy eucalyptus notes, black berries, dense, rich tannins, great potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with entrecote, beef fillet, game dishes, lamb or hard cheese.
Vinification
Hand picked in 10kg baskets, then a part ferments unstemmed in large wooden barrels. Aging for 36 months in 500l wooden barrels, with minimal sulfurization before bottling.
