About the wine
Bodegas Bhilar is a boutique winery in Elvillar, Rioja Alavesa, run by David Sampedro and Melanie Hickman. Their goal is to make terroir wines with a soul, respect the land, work only with local grapes and share their unique wines with good people with positive energy.

Tasting note
Rich color with notes of yellow dried flowers, chamomile and baked apples, topped with an organic and earthy note. On the palate, it is fresh and salty, sherry-like taste with aromas of orange marmalade, rich, combined with some tannins from the grape skin.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with sea fish, white meats, hard cheeses, paella.

Careful processing and fermentation with the stems, 3-year aging in barriques
