Pezas de Portela Valdeorras DO 2024 - Bodega Valdesil

The “Pezas da Portela” perfectly reflects Valdesil's originating and mineral Godello style. The scent is wonderfully floral and fresh, plus some stone fruit, apples and citrus fruits, everything is backed by a delicate minerality. In the mouth, too, a brilliant interplay of noble enamel and salty shale minerality. Despite the fine fruit extract, it is always on the “cool” side, is wonderfully structured, profound and noble. The citrus notes are only subtly revealed on the palate, with floral and stony nuances playing first fiddle here. The long finish shows a lot of excitement and a puristic character. A brilliant and mineral white wine from Godello masters Valdesil.
