About the wine
The Saartjie range of single-varietal wines is grown on the estate and made from small individual vines. Great care and careful selection takes place to ensure that only the best wines are produced as a result. The name Saartjie was introduced after the Jack Russell puppy from our winemaker, Saartjie.

Tasting note
A lovely deep shade that is characteristic of its grape variety. In the nose, we find hints of violets, dark berries and licorice. With cassis and dark chocolate on the palate afterwards. With an impressive tannin structure and a persistent finish, this is a full-bodied wine that will benefit from further aging.
