About the wine
The strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Pessac-Leognan AOC is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. This Cabernet Sauvignon draws its strength and energy from the gravelly soils south of the city of Bordeaux. The winemaker from the French winery Château Seguin transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. Tasting note
The Château Seguin 2022 presents a fascinating abundance of black fruits such as mulberry, fig and cassis on the nose, accompanied by notes of graphite, dark licorice and violet. On the palate, it is voluminous and strong with a silky texture, ripe tannins and a vibrant freshness. The aftertaste is long and aromatic, characterized by blueberries, graphite and fine-grained astringency.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with grilled beef tenderloin, rack of lamb or aged hard cheese.
Vinification
The wine aged in barriques for around 12 months, 40% of which were new and 60% in second use, in order to achieve an optimal balance between fruit and wood.
