Perricone Sizilien DOC Vigna del Core 2021 - Feudo Montoni

Perricone is an ancient indigenous variety of Sicily. Once widespread, it lost more and more importance over time and had almost completely disappeared from the oenological scene until recently. It owes its rediscovery to committed winemakers such as Fabio Sireci. Vigna del Core is an exclusively populated area of Perricone at around 600 meters above sea level. The color is a vivid ruby red. The nose shows notes of ripe plums and dark berries. Licorice aromas complete the multi-faceted bouquet. Fruity in taste, full and soft, the persistent finish is also convincing.
