About the wine
This striking Merlot 2016 — Südtirol Perlhof Cuvée crescendo Vdt crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Picturesque and fertile landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ritterhof conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this merlot with poultry or slightly spicy red meat.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red color Subtly aromatic nose with fruity and spicy notes. Balanced structure on the palate, velvety tannins, elegant body. Fruity and spicy aromas, juicy and long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal, cheese, fried fish.
Vinification
After the selected grapes have been delivered to the winery, the separate, traditional, temperature-controlled maceration takes place at 28°C for 10 days. After blending, the wine ages in large wooden barrels.
