About the wine
The brothers Arturo and Kike de Miguel Blanco - Artuke for short - run a small winery in Rioja as a couple. The two rebellious young winemakers quickly aroused the interest of major critics, but they don't like to be in the limelight. They prefer to take care of their 32 small vineyards, which are spread around the Basque village of Baños de Ebro. Artuke work organically but are still waiting for certification.

Tasting note
Die verspielten Aromen des Paso Las Mañas von schwarzer Kirsche, Schokolade und gekochter Brombeere drücken viel Charakter mit einer ganz individuellen Struktur aus. Im Anschluss zeigen die fruchtigen Nuancen von Backpflaume, Gewürznelke und Marmelade ihren eigenen Charakter. Ein fruchtiger Rotwein mit kräftigem Körper und frischer Säure, welcher angenehm mit fein ausgebauten Tanninen auf Zunge und im Gaumen seine komplexe Struktur entfaltet.
