Tasting note
Sparkling burgundy On the nose, dark berries, fresh, multi-layered wood, essential oil. Fresh and full-bodied on the palate, with notes of amarena cherries and well-integrated wood. A distinctive, varietal acidity rounds off the wine.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with lamb, beef and game, as well as with barbecues, lasagna, polenta, pasta with mushrooms or spicy cheese — a versatile companion for hearty dishes.
Vinification
The wine ages in French oak barrels for 20 months. Before bottling, the wine is aged further in concrete tanks and then in the bottle before it is launched on the market.
