About the wine
Pactio celebrates love for Maremma, a land of great men and great wines, primarily from Sangiovese grapes. His symbol, Giano Bifronte, stands proudly on the label and represents the historic alliance that produced him. Like the Roman deity, who simultaneously looks at the past and the future, Pactio is a bridge between tradition and modernity.

Intense ruby red; intense and fruity on the nose, with a hint of vanilla; open and expressive on the palate, it shows delicious notes of ripe cherries and balanced tannins

Goes well with poultry, game and aged cheeses.
Vinification
Ageing for 4 months in mostly new Allier oak barrels, followed by brief bottle storage
