About the wine
Chignin-Bergeron is one of the 16 sub-regions or “crus” of the Vin de Savoie appellation in eastern France. The vin de Savoie (often simply spelled “Savoie”) is the main name for the Savoy region in the extreme east of France. The wine styles are characteristic and rarely found outside their areas of origin.

Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with meat sauce, grilled red meat.
Vinification
The Octavie cuvée is made only from Persan grapes, which grow in the “Les Cray” district of Chignin. This red wine is an example of harmony and balance between freshness and strength, with a nose that smells of orange peel, dark fruits and spices. The vinification and the first aging phase take place in 600-liter French oak barrels.
