About the wine
The pioneering Argentinean company Salentein was founded in 1992 by Dutch businessman Mijndert Pon. The distinctive bodega is shaped like a cross, where the wines mature 8 meters underground in a Berrique cellar reminiscent of an amphitheatre. The vineyards for the Barrel Selections are located in the heart of the Uco Valley at an altitude of 1050 to 1700 meters. The nights are cool and the days are sunny and warm. The altitude and special climate characteristics make the Uco Valley one of the most privileged wine regions in South America.
