Numerus Clausus Cigales DO 2020 - Finca Museum

Deep, shiny garnet red with ruby reflections. On the nose, an intense and complex bouquet with ripe, concentrated fruit. Mineral notes of graphite and slate are harmoniously combined with balsamic notes of eucalyptus and pine as well as spicy nuances of clove and cinnamon. The ripe Tempranillo character is also reflected in fine licorice notes, accompanied by hints of blackberry and blueberry jam, embedded in a creamy woody note with hazelnut and toffee tones. Dense and powerful on the palate, with a juicy, smooth texture and lots of substance. Balanced and delightful, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins. The long, expressive finish impressively underlines the terroir character and gives depth and elegance.
