About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2019, it is this dominant Pinot Noir 2014 — Nuits-St-Georges 1er cru Les Porêts AC. This Pinot Noir draws its strength and energy from the calcareous, shale soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Faiveley transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Pinot Noir with red meat or salmon.
Tasting note
Dark garnet red, wonderful bouquet of ripe fruits such as cherries and cassis. Strong tannins and fine acidity are present, which give the wine a nice balance. This wine is refined and elegant.
