Tasting note
Crystal clear ruby red color Distinctive woody scent, perfectly balanced with ripe red fruits, balsamic notes. Pleasantly dry and winey on the palate with soft, ripe tannins. In the mouth, a scent of balm, incense and herbal tea. Long aftertaste with vanilla and chocolate notes.
Culinary recommendation
This Chianti Classico Riserva goes well with red meat dishes, accompanied by mushrooms, as well as with shallots and baked potatoes.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Maceration for about 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Ageing for 14-16 months in Slovenian and French oak barrels. Bottle aging for at least 6 months.
