About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Shiraz 2016 — Novas Gran Reserva Syrah/Mourvedre Colchagua Valley DO. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Chilean winery Emiliana Organic Vineyards masters this red wine in the beautiful and sunny landscape of the Valle Central. Tasting note
Harvested from a limited yield and by hand, this cru is characterized by its deep dark red color. On the nose, it is intense with notes of black fruit, spices, pepper and cherries. Ageing in new French oak barrels gives it its vanilla flavor and good tannic structure. A great cru from Chile, richly strong, complex and harmonious in one that has good aging potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy meats or meat in sauces and game dishes.
