About the wine
Teroldego and Merlot grape varieties. The grapes that make up Norico ripen at different times. For this reason, they are harvested and vinified separately. First Teroldego and then Merlot. After fermentation at a maximum temperature of 28°C, the wine is aged in steel tanks for 3 months and then in barriques for around 6 months.
Tasting note
Very intense ruby red color, lively and bright with hints of berries and distinct spicy notes. This elegant blend of teroldego and merlot is soft and harmonious on the palate with notes of cherries and blackberries, velvety tannins, balanced structure and a pleasantly dry and persistent finish. Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Norico Rouge harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit Ente, Geflügel und leicht scharfem, rotem Fleisch. Unsere Empfehlung: Die ideale Trinktemperatur für den Rotwein liegt bei leicht gekühlten 16°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Jetzt bis 2024.
