Tasting note
Fine and complex on the nose with spicy pepper aromas, notes of blackberry jam and fresh greens. Ethereal and balsamic nuances find their way between floral violet scent and plum compote notes; licorice, cloves, cinnamon and a touch of wood follow. On the palate, you will discover a complex aroma package that flatters and seduces from the very first drop with chocolate, vanilla, roasted aromas and overripe fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Incorporated by elegant tannins, each drop is characterized by wonderful harmony and intensity. Rich and profound, it is the ideal accompaniment to exquisite red meat such as venison.
Vinification
The N°1 — Numero Uno, a wonderful creation made from dried Nebbiolo grapes, is the result of the desire to reinterpret Sforzato di Valtellina. It is therefore carefully and lovingly kept in valuable French oak barrels for years. As an ambassador for his terroir, he embodies its elegance and values. This fine nectar with an important name, whose grapes grow on vines that are more than seventy years old, enchants with its seductive aromas.
