About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Oddero conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this snappy Barbera 2017 Nizza DOCG. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Barbera with pasta or antipasti.
Tasting note
The renowned family winery Oddero is located in the heart of the Nebbiolo paradise of Barolo, on the flanks of the impressive hill creeks of the neighboring village of La Morra. The 6th and 7th generations led by the dedicated Mariacristina Oddero rely entirely on tradition combined with current and future-oriented sustainability. Nebbiolo Olympus represents the Cru Rocche di Castiglione from the Barolo cult area Castiglione Falletto. 65-year-old vines, barren soils produce intensely redberry, licorice-spicy noble barolo with length and impressive presence. A veritable, rare Grand Cru!
