Tasting note
The wine is deep purple. On the nose, intense aromas of blackcurrants, dark berries and tobacco develop, accompanied by fine spicy and roasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with firm tannins and lively acidity. The aftertaste is long and complex, characterized by dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with beef tenderloin, lamb, game dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in small batches. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, giving it depth and complexity.
