About the wine
This fresh Tempranillo 2010 — Nico Rioja DOC is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Fertile and picturesque landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Valserrano conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Nico by Valserrano has red and black berries, dried fruits and spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and curry on the nose. Balsamic notes and hints of cedar and oak are also noticeable. Powerful and spicy on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, grilled meats and stews.
Vinification
Fermented on natural yeast and aged in barriques for 21 months.
