About the product
An artisanally distilled mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave. Made by Refugia Cortés Ramos on their traditional palenque in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. NEW MOON uses particularly ripe espadín agave — a selection known as capón in Oaxaca. As a result of the longer ripening period, agave develops a higher fructose content and thus provides more depth and complexity in the taste.

Tasting note
Clear, fresh and smoky — with fine citrus and herbal notes. Thanks to the simple distillation with Refrescadera, the agave aromas remain particularly present, while smoke and earth notes blend harmoniously and in a balanced way into the overall bouquet. Perfect on its own or in a cocktail.
Culinary recommendation
A real treat on its own, but it can also be served over ice or as part of your favorite cocktails.
