About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes in Sicily give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Rocca del Geco conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With this powerful Shiraz 2015 — Nero d'Avola Syrah IGP, the term flavor takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Shiraz is very good to serve with roasted vegetables or barbecues.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red color with notes of cherries, blackberries and a touch of white pepper. Very intense and dense on the palate, soft, perfectly integrated tannin with a juicy, spicy finish.

Vinification
The two types of grapes are fermented individually in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 24 to 26°C for around 8 days. After maturing for 3 months in used French and American barriques, the grape must is assembled.
