Tasting note
Typical Puglia wine with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of dark berries, cherries, some licorice and Mediterranean herbs. Soft, full-bodied and harmonious on the palate with ripe fruit, well-integrated tannins and a spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with Mediterranean cuisine, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled meat, lamb or aged cheese.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging for several months also in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit aromas.
