About the wine
Don Angelo Cetto came to Baja California in 1926 as an Italian immigrant from Veneto (Italy). Coming from a family with a long wine tradition, he conscientiously used his knowledge to build this winery, which is unique in Mexico. Vinicola L.A. Cetto was finally founded in 1957, which is dedicated exclusively to modern quality wines. L.A. Cetto was instrumental in the development of modern viticulture in Mexico and, with its approximately 1200 ha in Baja California, is one of the largest producers. Hugh Johnson, the author of the legendary wine atlas, also praised this winery by placing it at the top of the quality wine producers in Mexico.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Intense scent of red and black fruits. Bouquet of roses, vanilla and wood. Ripe tannins, explosive, spicy and well-balanced on the palate. Nuances of tobacco, leather and nuts — long-lasting on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Italian dishes, red meats, sauces, grilled meats and fresh cheeses.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation. Ageing for 14 months in French oak barriques - storage in bottles for two years.
