The fertile and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Domenico Clerico conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
With Capìsme (emphasis on ì), Oscar Arrivabene, the co-owner, farm manager and oenologist, wants to introduce young wine enthusiasts, but also connoisseurs to the Nebbiolo grape variety. It is a wine that represents this sophisticated variety directly and unadulterated, showing it with all its elegance and liveliness. Capìsme is aged without wood to express pure fruitiness and lively suppleness. It comes from a vineyard that could also stand for Barolo and the wine, aged two years longer and in wood, would make a wonderful Barolo.
