About the wine
If we can offer something special for Easter 2019, it will be this outstanding red wine 2003 — Nebbiolo d'Alba Vignadogna Reserva DOC, wooden box. Blooming and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Bruno Pasquero conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Nebbiolo with pizza or prosciutto.

Tasting note
Ruby red. Aromas of ripe stone fruits, cherries. Elegance on the palate, discreet floral notes, fresh plums framed by subtle roasted aromas. For ten years, this wine was aged in traditional wooden barrels made of Slovenian oak, just like the large Barolos in the neighboring region once did. Unfortunately, for reasons of cost, almost no one does this anymore. A great wine for a small price, unfortunately only a barrel.
