About the wine
Antonio Navajas produces its wines here with fourth-generation son and daughter. Since the mid-1970s, it has also been growing and marketing its own wines. The barren and beautiful landscape of Navarrete (Rioja Alta) of the Upper Ebro gives grapes refinement. Rioja is the epitome of Spanish red wine. The family has now also succeeded in conjuring up white wines with an exciting character. The breakthrough came in 2003 with Rioja Tinto Crianza and Reserva. Ruby red color, tonal structure underlaid with red berries and American wood.

Tasting note
Ruby red, balanced and complex, aromas of ripe red fruits as well as licorice, cinnamon and pepper. It is round and silky but strong at the same time.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with a well-seasoned piece of fine meat.
Vinification
The Gran Reserva is aged for at least 5 years, including 24 months in barriques.
