About the wine
Quinta de São Luiz, owned by Kopke (founded 1638), is located in the Cima Corgo sub-region in the heart of the Douro Valley. Known for its whitewashed walls, which symbolize the local wine-growing region, the estate embodies the history and tradition of the region.

Tasting note
Color: Light ruby red with garnet reflections. Nose: Intense aromas of ripe black fruit, floral notes of lavender and cistus, with balsamic notes and a hint of menthol. Palate: Gentle start, round tannins, aromas of red berries and floral notes, with a voluminous and persistent finish.

Goes well with grilled red meat, Italian cuisine or fried chicken.
