About the wine
Chiara and Stefano Casali moved from Milan to Roccastrada in Maremma at the end of the 90s. After thorough and extensive renovation of the estate and the replanting of the vineyards, their first wine was released in 2007. We were immediately impressed - not only by the low prices for this zone - especially by the quality and the expected potential.
Tasting note
The Muralia shows a rich, deep ruby red in the glass. An inviting bouquet, clear notes of wild berries and black cherries are accompanied by subtle roasted aromas. Lots of dense, pure fruit on the palate. Tannin and acid are harmoniously combined and give Muralia a pleasant freshness. The long-lasting finish completes the positive overall impression.
