About the wine
The brothers Jacobus, Gottlieb and Philipp Mumm come from a rich German wine trading family that owns vineyards in the Rhine Valley. In 1827, they settled in Reims. G.H. Mumm & Cie. was founded in 1853. Mumm Cordon Rouge, recognizable by its red ribbon, inspired by the emblem of the Legion of Honor, was commercialized in France from 1875.

Tasting note
Aromas of lemon and grapefruit combined with the abundance of fleshy fruits such as peach, apricot and sour apple give the wine its freshness and temperament. The champagne bubbles strongly on the palate, but is not obtrusive at any time. Perfect balance is combined with round and full taste. The variety of aromas of fresh fruit and caramel provides even more intensity.
Culinary recommendation
Aperitif, but also goes well with starters. Can perfectly accompany an entire meal.
