Tasting note
This wine has a garnet red color with brownish nuances that indicate a certain degree of maturity. On the nose, it develops complex aromas of plum raisins, dried fruits, spices and subtle roasted notes that come from barrel aging. On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied with rounded tannins, resulting in a persistent and balanced finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with traditional meat dishes such as Portuguese “Cozido à Portuguesa”, as well as with roasted lamb or kids.
Vinification
This wine is made from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez and Syrah grapes. After careful harvesting and vinification, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months, followed by further bottle aging. This careful maturation contributes to the development of its unique characteristics.
