Before Giovanni Negro, current managing director, entered the history of the Negro Angelo & Söhne company, there was another character who left her mark and her name. In 1670, Giovanni Dominico Negro, son of Audino, was the owner of a house with an oven, a courtyard, a cellar and rows of vines, exactly in the same place where the Perdaudin estate is now located. This historical memory, recorded in the archives of the municipality of Monteu Roero, remains as an indelible trace of a past that only exists in the chronicles.Between Monteu Roero and Canale, where the hills stretch majestically towards the sun, lie the vineyards and cellars of the Negro Angelo winery and sons, almost fifty hectares under vines, privileging local and traditional wines: Arneis, Favorita, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Bonarda and Brachetto.
