This strong white wine 2015 — Morino Langhe Chardonnay DOC crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The winemaker from the Italian winery Beni di Batasiolo is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the blooming and sunny Piedmont countryside. Tasting note
Shiny straw yellow. Fragrant nose with aromas of pineapple, ripe citrus and exotic fruits, accompanied by subtle vanilla and roasted notes. Wonderfully elegant on the palate, with delicate structure and beautifully accentuated aromas. Balanced and medium-long aftertaste. Great value for money!
Culinary recommendation
Great with saffron and asparagus risotto.
Vinification
The best grapes from the Chardonnay vineyard “Morino”, located at 270 to 330 m above sea level in the municipality of La Morra, are selected, pressed and fermented after harvesting. The young wine ages in French barriques for six months and in the bottle for a further eight months.
