About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Morisfarms conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the snappy Sangiovese 2013 — Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG, you can offer your guests something very special. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Sangiovese with beef or lamb.

Tasting note
The riserva shows a deep ruby red color in the glass. The nose senses intense fruit, the roasted aromas are well integrated and complement the bouquet harmoniously. Powerful on the palate, fruit, acidity and tannin are well coordinated and result in a wine full of character with depth and persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG harmoniert hervorragend mit Rindfleisch, Lamm und Pizza.
Vinification
The temperature-controlled fermentation takes 20 days. The wine is then aged in second and third round barriques for one year. After maturing in the bottle of at least 6 months, the wine is finally on the market.
